Forward Deck Board

This board holds all the hardware and the mast ring.

The through hull fittings are turned down to custom size, rounded and polished.

The old board only had 2 through hull fittings. After reading up on CAT boat rigging I decided to prepare for 5.

These are "left over" teak pieces from the floor boards.

For ones I tried Gorilla glue on teak. Seemed to work very well but time will tell.

The with is now cut to 6 1/2 and the board is planed down. The edges are "routered" round 1/4.

With a circle around the center I measured the position of the through deck fittings. They are aligned symmetrical to the center line.

The holes are drilled through the mast support plate. I believe this should hold....
