Finishing Ribs

After removing the ribs from the hull they get the finishing touches.

Some cracks in the ribs are fixed with Gorilla glue. The next day the glue can simply be cut away with a razor blade.

The shims are epoxied to the ribs. I marked the positions 1 inch away from the keelson.

Bob helping out with sanding in an earlier session. The ribs are prepared for painting with 80 grit paper.

The lot is done. Almost 30 pieces are waiting to get the clear coat. I marked the bottom side with a number to remember the order.
